Insomniac Heads to Southern China for the First-Ever EDC Guangdong

Insomniac Events have revealed the newest addition to the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) family. On November 24th and 25th, the province of Guangdong, China will host the newest iteration of EDC.
EDC Guangdong will be a full-fledged entry in the EDC legacy, featuring Insomniac’s signature brand of over-the-top production. The party will be held at the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom theme park.
Chimelong Ocean Kingdom is a large aquarium/theme park hybrid that features many rides and aquarium exhibits. Dance music superstars Porter Robinson, Major Lazer, Steve Angello, Tiësto, and Zedd will be joined by a diverse cast of performers from all over the world to entertain the masses at the inaugural event.
Guangdong’s newest party will be only the second EDC event in China. In April, Insomniac took over China’s largest city with EDC Shanghai.
Since 1993, the head of Insomniac, Pasquale Rotella has been delivering some of the biggest dance music events in the world. The Electric Daisy Carnival brand has nearly become mythical among dance music fans all over the world due to its world-class production values and stellar lineups.
The flagship edition of Electric Daisy Carnival takes place annually in Las Vegas. EDC Las Vegas will return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from May 17th-19th, 2019.
